There is no such thing as neutral

Vanilla isn’t “blank,” you get it from the fruit of a tropical orchid. The flesh tone known as “white” is pinky-peachy-orange. Political left and right wing aren’t real places, and you’d drive forever trying to find their midpoint.

There is no such thing as neutral.

Everything is in motion. Every celestial body rotates around another one. What feels like solid land is a vessel sailing through space. There’s no center of the universe. You’ll never cut a cake perfectly in two. What feels like standing still takes dozens of muscles in active tension and billions and billions of cells in frenetic motion.

There’s no relationship without tension, no progress without compromise, no flawless ideas, no timeless aesthetic. These only exist in utopia — and utopia literally means “no place.”

What feels like a neutral opinion is a culturally, linguistically, physiologically informed point of view. You most definitely have a bias because you carry momentum from the beginning of time.
