Writing · Journey
Write the big thing
You have a hefty idea inside you: a non-fiction book, a novel, a newsletter, or some other long-form piece of writing. You're confident you can write it, but for some reason it's hard to get started. This journey helps you develop those early ideas into a coherent architecture for a substantial writing or content project.
Together, we take nascent or sprawling ideas and add shape, sequence, and direction. It's writing coaching and sensemaking — not cheerleading. We'll murder your firstborn ideas, pursue the threads worth keeping, and build a body of thinking that can support an ecosystem of related writing. It's a rigorous, collaborative journey with actual homework.
Who this is for
- Writers, founders, and thinkers with a large idea that keeps expanding but not landing
- People with real craft who need architecture, not motivation
- Creators who want outside rigor without handing over authorship
What we do together
- Clarify the core argument and what the project is really trying to say
- Shape scope and structure so the project becomes finishable
- Build a sequence for chapters, essays, or sections that can hold the full idea
- Set a writing rhythm with accountability between sessions
What changes by the end
- You move from "I have a lot of material" to "I know what this is, and how to build it"
- Decisions about direction get faster because the project has a clear center
- The work becomes less emotionally noisy and more executable
What you leave with
- A clear project architecture document
- A prioritized map of sections or chapters
- A practical writing cadence and next milestone plan
- Decision criteria for what belongs in this project and what does not
Format
6 or 12 sessions
Best first step
Bring the project in its current, messy form. We'll quickly decide whether this journey is the right container.
